About Qu
Infrastructure without compromise.
Qu gives organizations the performance, flexibility and confidence to build for what comes next. Across our national platform, we combine enterprise-grade data centres, available capacity and hands-on expertise with Canadian ownership and data sovereignty.
Built on experience. Invested in Canada.
Qu Data Centres was built from the former Rogers data centre portfolio, establishing a national platform already serving more than 750 customers across enterprise, government and cloud environments. Backed by InfraRed Capital Partners, part of Sun Life’s SLC Management platform, Qu combines long-term institutional investment with a distinctly Canadian approach to digital infrastructure.
That means investing responsibly in the communities where we operate, managing resources like water with care, building strong municipal relationships and helping Canadian organizations keep critical data and infrastructure closer to home.
Partners worth plugging.
Our inner circle.

Frequently asked questions
What does "Canadian-sovereign" mean at Qu?
Your infrastructure and data are hosted in Canada, ensuring compliance with Canadian regulations and secure from foreign governments.
How many data centers does Qu operate?
Qu operates nine data centres across Canada, with facilities in Toronto, Ottawa (two locations), London, Calgary (three locations), and two facilities in Edmonton. This national footprint provides enterprise and government customers with redundancy, low-latency connectivity, and geographic diversity entirely within Canada.
Are Qu Data Centres Tier-certified?
Yes. Four Qu facilities are Tier III-certified: Edmonton (3 MW, AI-ready), Calgary Airdrie (9 MW, AI-ready, the largest Qu facility in Alberta), Ottawa Kanata North (2 MW upgradeable to 10 MW, federal and defence tech), and Toronto (10 MW, 30 kW per rack, LEED Silver). Additional facilities hold ISO 27001 certification or SOC 1/2/3 attestation. Tier III certification guarantees N+1 redundancy across power and cooling with no single point of failure.
What services does Qu Data Centres offer?
Qu offers colocation, cloud, and managed services. Colocation customers benefit from 49 MW of total capacity across nine facilities with carrier-neutral connectivity. Cloud services support hybrid and multi-cloud architectures on Canadian infrastructure. Managed services include network, security, and infrastructure management for enterprise and government workloads.
Who backs Qu?
Qu Data Centres is backed by InfraRed Capital Partners, a global infrastructure asset manager with over $13 billion under management and Sun Life as an institutional backer. The nine facilities were acquired from Rogers Communications in late 2025. Rogers continues as a channel partner providing network connectivity into the facilities.
